Last night at church after worship, I felt that there were people present that needed physical healing. One thing I know is that it's always God's will that we be healed...no question about it. Jesus was the exact representation of God and all he did was go around healing people...that's what God is like.
So after worship, I speak out that people are being healed. One person spoke up that had been healed of neck issues and two more people then spoke up that their neck and head issues had also been healed. Another lady then responded that the injury on her heel had just been healed. She kept touching it and saying, "it doesn't hurt." She limped in but now had no pain at all. Others testified of no more pain.
The most interesting thing was that no one prayed for anyone, no one puts hands on anyone and the "specially anointed healer" wasn't required.
All that happened was that we experienced God and the product was LIFE. Jesus says in John 17 that eternal life if so know God. We can know God right now which means we can know the benefits of eternal life now. The word "know" in this passage is the Greek work, ginosko. Ginosko is better translated as "experience". Changing the phrase to "eternal life is to experience God."
When we experience God, eternal life is known. Jesus later says that he manifested God's name. When we experience God, we literally manifest his very essence and the result is eternal life.
The question has to be asked, when does eternity begin? It has no beginning, it's better understood as a potential or a different realm/dimension that is in relationship with our current experience. The Kingdom of Heaven is within.
This means that we can experience the benefits of eternal life right now. Through being made righteous by the blood of Jesus, we are qualified for eternal life which we are in now.
We eventually will get eternal bodies but the potential of eternity lies within us at this very moment. We must stop pushing Heaven off into some other place after we die and realize that eternal life is available NOW!
