Do you know who you are? In Christ:

You are a King of Life. You have been delivered form the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of Jesus. You were crucified with Christ and were raised with Him. Your sin no longer exists, your shame no longer exists, your guilt no longer exists, you are completely free. When Jesus went back to Heaven, He took you with Him, not as a spectator but as an equal. Jesus now calls us friend. You are currently seated in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. You are above and more powerful than any spirit in this world, the evil one can't touch you. You are a ruler in a realm in which you don't fully know. Set your mind on things above so that you may know who you are.

We give voice to the heart of God.  We sing the song of the Spirit of God with our lives and we experience the fruit.  A song is bigger than its words, a song is bigger than its notes and chords, a song is bigger than its melody and phrasing.  A song releases LIFE! A song can lift a heart, a song can inspire creativity, a song can give birth to another song.

Last night at church after worship, I felt that there were people present that needed physical healing.  One thing I know is that it's always God's will that we be healed...no question about it.  Jesus was the exact representation of God and all he did was go around healing people...that's what God is like.

So after worship, I speak out that people are being healed.  One person spoke up that had been healed of neck issues and two more people then spoke up that their neck and head issues had also been healed.  Another lady then responded that the injury on her heel had just been healed.  She kept touching it and saying, "it doesn't hurt."  She limped in but now had no pain at all.  Others testified of no more pain.

The most interesting thing was that no one prayed for anyone, no one puts hands on anyone and the "specially anointed healer" wasn't required.

So often I speak to people who just want to make a difference, they want their lives to count.  Yet many of those same people don't feel qualified, or good enough, to minister to others.  I always ask them if they think King David felt "good enough" after he ordered the death of a man who happened to be the husband of the woman David had fallen in love with.

The point being, it's not our own righteousness that qualifies us to represent God...it's our story.  Your story is the testimony that God is a good God.  Your story is proof that Christ accepts us freely through his sacrifice and not out works.

You have a story of what God has done in your life.  You have a testimony you can share with others, no matter the current state you're in.  If you're trusting God not giving up, you have a story.  If you're seeing hundreds in your church every week, you have a story.  If you sinned ye ... When you’re coming out of something and moving into another place, that’s not the time to get complacent and wait.  That’s the time to pursue God and move forward in why you came out in the first place.  When you feel stuck it’s because you’re coming out and about to move into something else.  Don’t lay down and say, “I’ll just wait on God”.

When the nation of Israel came out of Egypt, they were led to a place that to them looked impossible to walk out of but it was actually the perfect set up to set them completely free.  Moses had just led the people out of slavery and was walking them toward their future, toward the promise that God had made.

God made a promise of a land free from enemies, with all the resources they could ever need and on top of that, it was one of the most pleasant places in the world.  God has that same promise for you today.&a ... Read More »
