1 Corinthians 2:2   For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We want the things of God to make sense to our natural mind but many times our lack of understanding only serves to legitimize our unbelief.  Yes we should study, gain knowledge and understanding, but that is so we can renew our mind to be confident in what he has already done in us, not get him to give things to us.  We need knowledge in how to apply the blessing rather than how to get it.  We need understanding in how to appropriate or manifest kingdom. To know God is eternal life. 

God, we want to know you.  We want knowledge to get our hearts aligned to your voice but we want only you. Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Become a student of thee cross and become convinced of what it accomplished.
